Mandarin Learning Introduction
Shanghai Golden Bridge Institute is now starting its Mandarin Courses. Developed specially by professors and experts in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language from Shanghai Golden Bridge Institute, is now available, and the courses are designed with such delicacy that students from different cultural backgrounds at any language level can all find a suitable class to join in.
Course Types
(1) The Elementary Level
Courses 101 and 102 are set for beginners from European language background. To make Chinese learning easy to start, Pinyin is used as the major instruction medium and the stress on Chinese written characters is reduced to minimum. Communicative skills are highly emphasized.
Courses 111 and 112 are set for Japanese learners or learners with some basic Chinese knowledge, say, knowing about 1000 Chinese characters. Peculiar Chinese culture is highlighted in this course.
Courses 001 and 002 are two general courses, suitable for any non-native speakers without any knowledge of Chinese. The course gives even emphasis on the four skills of language: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Each type of the courses covers two semesters. Teaching hours: 160-180.
(2) The Intermediate Level
Courses 201 and 202 are of the intermediate level. Learners of this level should have learnt at least 180 hours already. Teaching hours: 140-160.
(3) The Advanced Study
Courses 301 and 302 are for the advanced level, with great emphasis on unique Chinese expressions, culture, history and the society, to facilitate a better understanding of China. Teaching hours: 120-140.
(4) Customized Courses
